Colby Purcell is a pianist, instructor, and accompanist who strives to bring the love and appreciation of music into the lives of those around her. Mrs. Purcell received her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Tennessee
Dr. Mary Etta Hobbs
Dr. Hobbs has her DMA from the University of North Texas in Vocal Performance.
She taught at Abilene Christian University for eight years where she was the
Opera Director.

Leslie Brewer
Mrs. Brewer and her family have been a Rockwall resident for almost 4 years, moving here from Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Mrs. Porter has a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Ouachita Baptist
University and her Master of Music Education from the University of North
Texas.

Magen Miller
Magen began her piano studies when she was 5 years old. She started playing the violin when she was 7. She played piano and keyboard with her high school choir and jazz band at Garland high school in
Garland, Tx.
Elissa Heise
Mrs. Heise has her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Friends University in
Wichita, Kansas, and a Master of Music in choral conducting from Wichita State
University.
Nancy Norton
Nancy Norton began her violin studies at the age of five with the Suzuki Method.
She was a member of her school orchestras both in junior high and high school.
Chuck Pangburn
Chuck Pangburn joined the Rockwall School of Music in September 2004 and
provides over 30 years of teaching experience to our students.
Russ Porter
Russ Porter is a 1978 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University with a Bachelor's
of Music degree in Church Music. His area of concentration was vocal/choral
education with a minor in piano.
Benjamin Croucher
Benjamin Croucher is a graduate of SMU. He has studied under John Bryant, Ed smith, Doug Howard, and Jamal Mohammed.
