Piano

Regardless of whether a child plays the piano for a short time or for a lifetime, they will acquire a baseline of skills and knowledge that will continue to benefit them throughout their life. In fact, learning to play the piano can be one of the most valuable of all musical studies because it is the most straight-forward and intuitive of instruments. Learning piano can also help tremendously when a student is studying a different musical instrument later.

We recommend that younger beginning students start with a 30 minute private lesson once a week. Older beginners can benefit from a 30 or 45 minute lesson. More advanced students typically find 60 minutes to be of greatest benefit.

Throughout the school year, Private Piano Lessons are offered Mondays – Thursdays from 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM, Fridays from 10:00 AM -6:30 PM, and Saturday mornings 8:30 AM – Noon. Our Small Group Piano Classes consist of 2-4 students. Placement in a class is based on age, skill level, and availability in the teacher’s schedule. The minimum age for the beginner piano lessons is 4 years old.
